DAMPER - SPACER

Damper and Spacer in ONE.

The Abatek Damper-Spacer unites numerous technical advantages into ONE part!

It obviously increases efficiency and saves cost.

This solution offers automated SMT placeable assembly with 12mm standard feeder.
No extra operation to add dampers/spacers with adhesive, screws or springs.

In addition there is a wide range of design freedom.

THERMAL PAD

The two in one solution.

A flexible and extremely soft silicone rubber which is fire resistant, has thermal conductivity and great heat stability.
It transfers the heat from components like CPU or IC to a heat sink or metal case efficently.

In addition Thermal Pad also works as a distance keeper/cushion protecting electronic components.
One or two sided adhesive is optional.

LIGHT GUIDE

Enables flat and curved solutions with reduced number of LEDs.

Reduce the number of LEDs whilst increasing the light effect.

A Light Guide Film or Sheet optimizes energy and overall cost.

Each film or sheet spreads light more efficiently where desired.

Light Guide Sheet (LGS) also offer lightning and sealing options in one.
Light Guide Film (LGF) is ultra-thin for very slim solutions and can be placed directly over metal domes.

CLICKPAD - THE SHORT STROKE SOLUTION  Exclusively by Abatek

ClickPad is a silicone keypad with a short or long stroke and clear snap.

It has a unique feel generated through a combination of technologies.
Abatek not only provides a product. Metal domes are directly integrated into the keypad for optimal haptic, high life cycle and repetitive feel.
This fully automated assembly made out of metal domes and silicone parts ensures the functions of important parameters like force/way and electrical contact.

UNIQUE! In addition to the shape and tactile feel the acoustic can be adjusted.

Additional functions like redundancy, capacity, double stroke, sealing function and many more can be added.

SLIDER – REPLACES CAPACITIVE AND FORCE-RESISTANCE SOLUTIONS

"The Slider" is a slider or rotation solution invented by Abatek.

It does not require any capacitive or FSR-sensor thus avoids all electromagnetic interference and is glove compatible. Optionally added points or sections provide a tactile feedback. The threshold force can be adjusted.

This robust and very cost-efficient layered solution gives any closed surface structure a wide range of design freedom regarding color, printing, lighting and function.

SMT SILICONE KEY – FIRST AUTOMATED KEYPAD

A superior and cost-efficient substitute compared to common tact switches!

Customized SMT Silicone Key for your application without the need for drawings and tooling makes prototyping a breeze.

Machine placeable and Pb-free reflow soldering of long stroke silicone keys!

CONNECTOR / ZEBRA

Silicone Connector / Zebra Strip is the ideal approach for electrical connectivity between two parallel plane surfaces without soldering or gluing.

It is very cost-efficient and simply connect by compression.
It also absorbs vibrations.
This enables easy and robust assembly of your LCD or capacitive foil without ZIF Connector.
In addition it is suitable for bridging air gaps in a capacitive application.

The low resistance Connector / Zebra from Abatek can substitute expensive silver, nickel or gold connectors.

MEMBRANE SWITCHES

A cost-efficient well proven switching technology with high surface resistance.

The surface is closed and usually back-printed with the option of backlighting and openings.

In addition the buttons can be embossed and can have tactile feedback, LED's, stiffeners and connector tails.

In addition an elastomer for 3D look and feel can be applied.

Thanks to the super adhesive which is water resistant it is perfect for medical and outdoor applications.
