Understanding and mixing raw materials is a fundamentally important factor to control the function and the quality of the final part. Abatek is mixing the compounds In-House and is therefore independent of any supplier.

Shore Hardness

The right hardness for lasting durability.

The hardness of the raw material chosen has a direct influence on the characteristic of the final part. For example: Fine tuning the force/way curve by adjusting the shore hardness is crucial. Both for the tactile feeling in the assembly and for the end user.

Abatek guarantees reliable sealing function for both seals and gaskets with an optimized compression set.

Mixing compounds within the tightest tolerance allows Abatek - contrary to others - to adjust the parts precisely meeting customer requirements.

Color

The colorful world does not stop here.

The color of the compound can be matched to the RAL, LAB, NCS or Pantone color scale. It is defined by the amount and type of pigments mixed together with raw material. A calibrated colorimeter measures the color and gloss level to ensure a matching color during project life time.

Abatek offers solutions to minimize the visual difference between the two components by adjusting the color of the parts.
